![]() A pretty pastel rainbow! To create the wash I first laid down a layer of water onto some Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock using a flat brush. The numbers that I used are 35, 30, 33, 43, 51, 63, 139 which took me through pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I thought a loose soft watercolour background would look really pretty behind the die.įor my watercolouring I used the Gansai Tambi 36 pan set and picked seven colours to create my background. I’ve been itching to get my watercolours out for a while and this seemed like the perfect time. Today, I have very different look for you. I was sent the lovely Fancy Missing You die and yesterday I created this card. This isn’t a blog hop, so you don’t need to hop along, but you do need to go scavenging instead! Here’s another card version using these two sets along with the Sparkling Facets embossing folder for the background. Inside, specks of black, the witch image and phrase finish off the card. I stamped over the confetti background using the sentiments and silhouette witches to finish this front panel. Some of the black was diluted to make gray spots, too. On the front of this 5″ X 7″ card, I flicked on black, orange and purple watercolor paint. Inside the card, I added more sentiments from the set and another cute witch, too! This card is a 5″ X 7″ size. Specks of black and white using my black marker and Uni-bell Signo White Gel Pen finish the front side of the card. Keeping the middle of the front panel white, I stamped the witch and phrase from the Witch, Please stamp set by CZ Design to make this card. I use blending brushes to add the color to the cardstock. Using Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, black watercolor paint and water, I created this fun, background. ![]() ![]() Specks of black and white using my black marker and Uni-bell Signo White Gel Pen finish the front side of the card.Ī couple of sentiments complete the look inside this card. You could make this paper easily with white cardstock and a black marker, too. The pumpkin was die cut from black and white dotted pattern paper (not sure of brand). You can see from the side the dimension of the pumpkin. I used the layered pumpkin die and elevated the front pieces using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares so that I could tuck the witches in and make it look like they are coming out of the sides of the pumpkin. These paint colors are bold against the silhouette witches. I use Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) for my paint. This bright card begins with a watercolor background in oranges, reds and yellows. ![]() Just a note – These cards are made from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock and/or Canson XL Bristol watercolor paper (blue pad).
